Previously in the life of Scottie Says..
I got distracted by everything other than my blog here, sorry again! see what I did there? (See the previous post).
So... take a big deep breath and dive in!
In case you didn't know.
I got a job in an actual marketing department within a prestigious office/company! It was amazing, the start of a proper career! I left after 6 months, the stress was killing me and I started reading going into work, lest I make a mistake, or someone found a mistake and I had to correct it, regardless of whether it was mine or not. I was working flat out every day and it still wasn't enough for them, they were all lovely people and amazing at what they do, but when you and your manager are the only two people in the office after everyone has gone home on Christmas eve, you have to question what you are doing with your life. they needed more people, they didn't want to hire more people. Fair enough.

My partner and I moved out of my parents' place and rented our own flat! #adulting. I was still in between jobs and in the meantime, I worked harder on my newer business, Scott's Creations LDN, in which I make stationery such as cards and stickers and handmade gifts/jewellery.
we go on holidaaaay! wooo! to Vietnam for about a week and a few days? anyway, its beautiful place with even more beautiful food! I got to meet the resto f my partner's family members and had meals with them, which was lovely, we travelled around a bit, we LOVED HANOI! and HA LONG ! <3 <3 Yes I recommend it! Though we were drenched almost every time we stepped outside the hotel, cos the humidity and heat were so high, hahaha
I eventually find a new job, part-time at a retail store down the road from our flat, we then find a house to move into and my partner sets about buying it.
OMFG SO MUCH WORK to do with the house! to make it livable, including electrics, painting, prepping, new appliances etc etc! MAD. I become permanent at my job ^.
We have our first Christmas here at the new house, my JINWOO clothing and accessories business, I release a new line of products with a new design on, it's not doing well and I decided to focus my energy on SCLDN, as I am seeing some sales come through every so often (Thank you, homemade gods!).
As I think about how to become more professional and up my game in terms of both JINWOO and how can I pivot it to work better, and level up SCLDN, a global pandemic hits and everyone is staying home and not leaving home to stay safe, I still make a few sales on SCLDN and JINWOO even sees an uptick in interest and a few sales. I also am struggling to look for a more suitable job, which will give me more money. Of course, this pandemic has put paid to anything. I become a Key-worker by working in a supermarket, instead of my normal retail role (redeployed), then things eventually calm down a bit enough for me and others to go back to our usual jobs with special measures in place.
I finally get around to updating my blog here, cos well, why not?
